Responsibilities

Real Alloy is seeking a highly organized and dependable Purchasing Agent to join our team in Post Falls Idaho!  We are looking for a proactive Purchasing Agent who takes pride in ensuring materials, supplies, and services are available when and where they are needed. If you enjoy keeping operations running smoothly and efficiently then this is the role for you. The ideal candidate for the Purchasing Agent position will be able to efficiently: 

  • Purchase facility supplies and services by issuing purchase orders 
  • Enter receipts into Oracle in a timely manner
  • Manage account payables for non-metals invoicing
  • Maintain all A/P, maintenance data system, and purchasing records according to our internal audit guidelines
  • Resolve issues with services provided by vendors 
  • Resolve discrepancies on unmatched invoices/transactions or erroneous requests for payments through collaboration with internal and external sources 
  • Monitor plant costs for supplies and services 
  • Develop, implement, monitor, and report plant cost reductions

This role will also provide administrative support for the maintenance data system and to the Plant Controller, HR, CSR, Maintenance Manager, and HSE as needed. 

Qualifications

  • Associates degree or equivalent years experience 
  • Ability to effectively communicate, problem solve, and multi-task 
  • Must be able to influence and work with all levels of employees 
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication, and organizational skills are essential 
  • Highly motivated, goal oriented, ethical, and challenge driven
  • Proven ability to function successfully with minimal supervision 
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office products 
  • Experience with Oracle and computerized maintenance management system preferred 
  • Maintenance and part knowledge helpful
