Overview

REAL ALLOY is the market leader in third-party aluminum recycling and specification alloy production.  We have 16 plants strategically located across the United States, Mexico, and Canada.  We convert aluminum scrap and by-products into reusable aluminum metal for a growing number of applications across various industries. We are ideally positioned to respond to the needs of an increasingly recycling-conscious world. Advanced technologies enable us to process a large variety of scrap and dross and reduce the amount of residual waste from aluminum manufacturing that would otherwise end up as landfill.  This position will be located in MISSISSAUGA, CANADA.

Responsibilities

The Material Settlement Coordinator is responsible for processing the full cycle of raw material receipt documentation. 

  • Serves as integral team member on communication with customers or vendors to address questions and responds to special requests.
  • Settle loads and enter information into ERP (Oracle).
  • Gather settlement documentation and create settlement packages.
  • Examine raw material received and validate material composition as needed.
  • Coordinate with raw material suppliers regarding open orders.
  • Maintains computerized database and files to assist in compiling and preparing daily, weekly, and monthly reports to customers and business unit managers.
  • Process and monitor contracts, including managing the quality and accuracy of the contract. This includes but is not limited to timely order fulfillment, accurate contract pricing and invoicing.
  • Print and e-mail supplier settlements, as well as accompanying documentation as required by supplier.
  • Maintain hard and soft copy documentation within designated filing cabinets and digital systems.
  • Resolve vendor receipt concerns.

 

Qualifications

 

  • Some post-secondary education or relevant combination of equivalent education and experience.
  • 1-2 years’ experience in a customer service role.
  • 1-2 years’ experience with payable adjustments and inventory tracking practices is preferred.
  • Effective mathematical and analytical skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Organized and able to effectively multitask.
  • Able to work independently.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).

 

Compensation:

  • $40,000 - $55,000 Base Salary.
  • Eligible for bonuses.
  • Group Retirement Plan (RRSP)
