Advanced technologies enable us to process a large variety of scrap and dross and reduce the amount of residual waste from aluminum manufacturing that would otherwise end up as landfill.

Responsibilities

Industrial Lab Technician! starting at $25.00/hr (compensation based on experience)

Regular shift: Monday- Friday 6:00AM -2:30PM  

  

We are currently offering a Retention Bonus and Monthly Incentive Bonus:

 

RETENTION/REFERRAL BONUS:

The Lab Technician will perform various INDUSTRIAL LABORATORY ACTIVITIES to assure quality production at minimal cost in a safe work environment. If you are looking for a growth opportunity with wage advancement options we have the Lab Technician position for you.

Ensuring that all PMs are up to date on the spectrometer and all aluminum sample buttons are correct and of good quality.

 

  • Provide accurate and prompt recording of all metal analysis to the responsible department and respond to requests for information by various departments.  Maintain an organized system of record and sample retention.
  • Enforce compliance to specific customer sampling plans, sample signature chain of custody, sample frequency, and sample quality.
  • Ensure that all laboratory facilities are kept in a clean and orderly manner

Qualifications

  • Associate degree (AA/AS) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or several years of foundry quality experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. 
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
