REAL ALLOY is the market leader in third-party aluminum recycling and specification alloy production.  Headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio, we have 17 plants strategically located across the United States, Mexico, and Canada.  We convert aluminum scrap and by-products into reusable aluminum metal for a growing number of applications across various industries. We are ideally positioned to respond to the needs of an increasingly recycling-conscious world. Advanced technologies enable us to process a large variety of scrap and dross and reduce the amount of residual waste from aluminum manufacturing that would otherwise end up as landfill.

This position will manage all plant maintenance activities including preventative maintenance, trouble shooting and repairing issues.  In addition, this role will assist in improving the planning and procurement functions required to efficiently sustain plant equipment following guidelines of all safety, environmental, governmental policies and regulations, and other Real Alloy policies.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products Experience with Oracle preferred.
• Background with manufacturing methods, process improvement programs and procedures required.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as work orders, safety rules, procedure manuals, blueprints, operating and maintenance instructions and specifications, etc.
• Knowledge and experience with natural gas furnace and gas combustion systems, bag house and environmental equipment, refractory, mobile equipment, PLC's and electrical.
• Necessitates excellent interpersonal, planning, organizing, time management, and computer skills and effective oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to use logic and reasoning to analyze best practice maintenance procedures and systems to determine cause and effect relationship of outputs and use analysis to maximize work performed and equipment downtime.
