Overview

REAL ALLOY is the market leader in third-party aluminum recycling and specification alloy production.  We have 17 plants strategically located across the United States, Mexico, and Canada.  We convert aluminum scrap and by-products into reusable aluminum metal for a growing number of applications across various industries. Advanced technologies enable us to process a large variety of scrap and dross and reduce the amount of residual waste from aluminum manufacturing that would otherwise end up as landfill.  This position will be located in MISSISSAUGA, CANADA.

Responsibilities

We are hiring for an exciting Full-time Licensed Millwright position in our Maintenance department. Candidates need to be available to work the following shift:

11:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m.

 

The Hourly Rate for this role is $30.88 Per Hour

 

Responsibilites include the following:

  • Perform all job functions according to Real Alloy Health & Safety procedures.
  • Report all accidents/incidents and unsafe conditions/behavior.
  • Participate in and support continuous Improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain work area in accordance with 5S principles.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mobile equipment as follows.
  • Install, maintain, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment Including hydraulic circuits and controls, conveying systems, piping, and plumbing, fans, blowers, air filtration systems.
  • Bearing assembly and set up.
  • Conduct routine predictive and preventative maintenance on all in house equipment.
  • Fabricate and fit equipment components.

Qualifications

  • Licensed Maintenance Millwright 433A, or related experience as a maintenance millwright.
  • Welding experience - preferred certified welder (Stick and MIG)
  • Excellent communication skills, written & verbal
  • Ability to read blueprints and equipment manuals, identify faulty components and communicate details/part numbers for procurement
  • Pipe fitting experience an asset
  • Familiarity with gas fired combustion systems an asset
  • This is a unionized facility
